Gen - 玄 - (Tote Bag / Persimmon-Tanned Washi)
A tote bag combining persimmon-tanned washi with rich dark brown cowhide leather. The large leather pocket on the front neatly holds a smartphone and small items, and a subtly shining gold plate adds an accent. The magnetic flap at the opening can be opened and closed easily with one hand and keeps the contents out of view for peace of mind. With its slim silhouette and minimal gusset, it fits A4 documents and can be used for everything from work to going out.

Handmade Washi from Mino: Washi made in Mino is carefully handmade, sheet by sheet, by skilled artisans. The washi used in WASHIKA bags is a thick, reinforced variety made exclusively for WASHIKA.
Kakishibu Dyeing: The washi is dyed with kakishibu (persimmon tannin), a traditional Japanese dye, giving it a deep color and character.
