和然 – 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐀 – is a Japanese bag brand that combines handmade Mino washi paper with cowhide leather, crafted in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Today, we are taking a new step forward— as a unisex brand.


Where We Started

The parent company behind 和然 – 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐀 –, TG Co., Ltd., has long specialized in crafting women's leather bags.

Building on that foundation, WASHIKA was originally launched with women as our primary audience.


What Washi Taught Us

As we continued to work with washi paper, something became clear.

The beauty of this material is not meant for one gender alone.

Each sheet of handmade washi carries its own natural ripple pattern— no two are alike, giving every bag an expression found nowhere else in the world.

Paired with cowhide leather that deepens in luster over time, the bag evolves differently in every person's hands, quietly growing more beautiful with use.
